Douglas Boatyard is a traditional working boatyard with the skills and experience to carry our repairs on all types of craft, and particlualry those of timber and GRP construction. In addition, Douglas Boatyard is an International Paints Authorised Paint Application Centre, an International Paints Osmosis Treatment Centre, a Beta Marine Main Dealer, and we are OEM Dealers for Mercury/Mariner, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Tohatsu outboard motors.
Other work regularly undertaken includes insurance repairs, yacht re-rigging, keel re-bedding, inboard engine replacement, and other general maintenance and refitting work.
