Please Note:
  1. Moving of vessels on water to or from the slipway is by the owner. If this is undertaken by Douglas Marine Ltd a charge of £25.00 will apply.
  2. The above schedule of rates is discounted and applies only to berth-holders and customers who will be keeping their boats at Douglas Boatyard. None berth-holders by quotation.
  3. Craft over 12.0m hull length or 3.7m beam or 12 tonnes in weight, and all multi-hulls, by quotation.

Masts:

Stepping and unstepping of masts will be charged at daywork rates. Usually, this will involve the crane, a crane driver and a boatyard operative, for which the charge will be £48.50 per half hour, with a minimum charge of a half hour. (Please note that the time booked will include the time for rigging and derigging the crane.)

It is the owner's responsibility to check that the rigging screws are not seized and that the rigging is fit for purpose. If the mast cannot be stepped because of inadequate rigging, all abortive work will be charged at the full daywork rate.

 

Daywork Rates:

  • Shipwright: £35.00 per hour
  • Boatyard Operative: £27.00 per hour
  • 20 tonne mobile crane, including one operator: £35.00 per half hour (time booked will include rigging and derigging time)
  • Small boatyard tug, including one operator: £25.00 per half hour

Terms:

  1. Payment of boatyard charges by credit card will attract an additional charge of 2%
  2. All payments are due within fourteen days of the date of invoice. Invoices that are not settled on time will attact interest charges at 2.5% per month.
  3. All accounts must be settled prior to the vessel's departure.
