Boatyard Services
Douglas Boatyard has been building and repairing boats since around 1900, when the boatyard was established by the Wright Brothers following a fire which completely destroyed their original boatyard in Southport. The yard employs a number of full time, experienced shipwights and the services offered include:-

• Boat building - Douglas Boatyard is the home of the Predator Boats range of fishing and sports boats
• Boat repairs - a full repair service is available including repairs to boats in timber and GRP.
• International Paints approved osmosis treatment centre.
• International Paints approved boat painting centre.
• Rigging service - roll swaging and Talurit splicing.
• Slipway for vessels up to 30 tonnes.
• Cranage for vessels up to 20 tonnes.
• Pontoon and jetty mooring for vessels of all types.
• Storage ashore including undercover storage.
• Diesel and Calor Gas supplies.
• Modern and well-stocked chandlery.
